Oakfield Farm

The History

The Summerhouse venue is Oakfield Farms most popular venue. The Summerhouse venue is an architectural overload, with glass sliding doors, open wooden roof trusses and a tree forming an intimate part of this popular venue. The Summerhouse venue is surrounded by roses which are in full bloom during spring & summer, making way for Arum Lilies in late July/early August when the roses are pruned. Glass sliding doors spill out into the gardens to the front and side of the venue, with bubbling fountains to the back of the venue.

The Conservatory Chapel

Imagine the splendor of the horse-drawn
carriage driving you to the chapel.
As you drive by the chapel, your friends
and family catch a glimpse of you. The
carriage stops by the door to let you off,
and you end up standing in front of the
grand doors, waiting for the doors
to open…with excitement and anticipation!
The Conservatory Chapel was
an old chicken run converted by Mrs.
Harrison, in which she grew her prized
orchids. As the doors slide open, you are
welcomed by lush greenery framing the
entrance. In front of you, as you meet
your partner, a breathtaking backdrop
of verdant foliage sets the stage, while
glass doors reveal the stunning gardens
that lie beyond the chapel.
