The History
The majestic Homestead Venue, once called the “Lapa” is a large expanse offering enough room for all your friends and family. Surrounded by water features and indigenous forests, it makes for the perfect forest themed wedding venue. After the ceremony guests are lead through the forest to the Pavilion where canapés and drinks are enjoyed. Next to the Pavilion one can still see the remains of one of the areas tallest Oak trees, which met its end in a lightning storm after a terrible draught having stood tall for 120 years.
The Forest Chapel
Our most majestic ceremony venue,
The Forest Chapel, is nestled deep
within the forest and
offers a stunning view of a serene
pond fed by a natural spring. As you
arrive on a horse and carriage, guests
will catch a glimpse of your entrance
from the expansive green lawns adjacent
to the chapel. This moment of anticipation
builds until they meet you at the chapel’s
entrance. The Forest Chapel’s open design
provides an ethereal atmosphere, allowing
you to feel both deeply connected to
nature and intimately close to your guests.
The Yellowwood Chapel
What’s a perfect summer wedding
without a charming outdoor chapel?
The Yellowood Chapel, nestled next to
our Homestead venue, offers a serene
second option for your special day.
Tucked away behind a lush forest, it
combines the beauty of the outdoors
with complete privacy, providing an
enchanting setting for your intimate
celebration.
